Come aprire un libro di fiabe ed essere catapultati nella storia di una qualche facoltosa principessa dai lunghi capelli neri, magari accompagnata da un leone o un puma. Ci troviamo a Bali e questa struttura racchiude tutto ciò che una casa nella giungla dovrebbe avere. Sicuramente il primo aspetto è il contatto con la natura e il paesaggio circostante. Potremmo quasi definire questa casa come un tetto sotto cui vivere. Grazie alle alte temperature tropicali, possiamo vivere gran parte degli ambienti di questa casa come se fossimo nella giungla; soggiorno, sala da pranzo, camera da letto e patio si comportano allo stesso modo, tutti aperti sui lati lunghi della struttura, cosi da poter avere in camera la stessa aria che respirano gli animali della foresta. Una grande quantità di legno e colori caldi fanno si che ci sia un continuo tra caldo tropicale della foresta e caldo cromatico degli interni. Il tetto con la copertura a vista e le travi in legno è già uno spettacolo di per se, e serve poco quindi per arredare. Per la sala un paio di divani con un gran set di cuscini e un paio di poltrone in rattan sono inondate dal sole accompagnate da un tappeto in fibre naturali. In soggiorno un tavolo in legno scuro riprende il colore degli infissi, e si decora con una mensola sospesa dello stesso legno per esporre qualche delicatezza o pianta del luogo. In camera da letto pavimento, pareti, soffitto e infissi sono in tonalità scura per poter dare più risalto alla vera star della stanza, il letto, con un bellissimo baldacchino in rete bianca per tenere gli insetti alla larga, accompagnato in bianco dalle tende che schermano da occhi indiscreti. Una doccia immersi tra le piante? perché no? Abbiamo anche quella, ed è bellissima. Chi sta già prenotando un volo per Bali?

We are in Bali and this structure encompasses everything that a house in the jungle should be. Certainly the first aspect is the contact with nature and the surrounding landscape. We can almost define this house as a roof to live under. Thanks to the high tropical temperature, we can live in most of the rooms of this home as if we were in the jungle; livingroom, dining room, bedroom and patio behave the same way, all open on the long sides of the structure, to be able to have the same air in the room that the animals of the forest breathe. A large quantity of wood and warm colors make sure that there is a continuum between tropical warmth of the forest and chromatic warmth of the interior. The exposed roof with wooden beams is already a spectacle in itself, and therefore it is of little use to furnish. For the main room, a pair of sofas with a great set of pillows and a pair of rattan armchairs are flooded by the sun and accompanied by a carpet of natural fibers. In the living room, a dark wooden table takes the color of the frames, and decorates with suspended shelf of the same wood to expose some delicacy or plant of the region. In the bedroom, flooring, walls, ceiling and fixtures are in dark tones to be able to give more emphasis to the real star of the room, the bed, with a beautiful canopy in white mesh to keep the insects away, accompanied by white curtains that shield from prying eyes. A shower immersed in the plants? Why not? We also have that, and it is beautiful. Who is already booking a flight to Bali?
