Un appartamentino piccolo, quasi minuscolo (23 mq) eppure con una cucina che fa concorrenza a quelle dei ristoranti. Ci troviamo in un piccolo monolocale dotato della metratura ideale ed essenziale per vivere. Abbiamo un micro corridoio d’ingresso che ci lancia subito sull’angolo cucina, poi, appena affianco, lo spazio adibito a zona letto e un piccolo tavolo da pranzo rotondo dove mangiare, e dall’altro lato un piccolo bagno. Sicuramente il proprietario ama cucinare: questo lo possiamo dire osservando la cucina, e il piccolo terrazzo, che traboccano di vita; In cucina troviamo un arredamento rigorosamente in acciaio, molto igienico e di tendenza, proprio come le cucine professionali, attrezzi appesi alle pareti, coltelli attaccati a una banda magnetica, e tante mensole, anch’esse totalmente in acciaio, su cui conservare tutto ciò che non trova spazio in giro per casa, come le pentole, gli alcolici, il cibo, le spezie, i piatti e i bicchieri, e pure il tostapane. Una piccola cucina che ha tutto a portata di mano, e poco più in la, spostandoci in terrazza, troviamo un angolino dedicato alle piante aromatiche: un piccolo allungamento della cucina, che ci aiuta ad avere per ogni pasto una fogliolina fresca di menta o basilico, o ancora il prezzemolo per condire, il rosmarino per il pollo o i pomodorini freschi per un’insalata di stagione. Un semplice tavolo lungo in metallo bianco, accostato a un paio di panche nello stesso stile, completa il quadretto della casetta per le cene con gli amici. Già noi ci immaginiamo le luci soffuse, il sugo che bolle in pentola, le patatine e l’hummus fuori in terrazza con una bottiglia di vino bianco che gocciola condensa, in attesa dello chef che ci delizia con la portata principale. Una casa che gravita attorno alla cucina? Per noi è si!

A small little apartment, almost miniscule (23 sqm) nevertheless with a kitchen that can compete with those in restaurants. We are in a small studio equipped with the ideal and essential size for living. We have a small entryway that throws us quickly into the kitchen corner, then, just next door, the bedroom area and a small round dining room table to eat at, and on the other side, a little bathroom. Surely the owner loves to cook: this we can say by observing the kitchen, and the small terrace that overflows with life. In the kitchen we find strictly steel furnishing, very hygienic and on trend, just like professional kitchens, tools hanging on the walls, knives attached to a magnetic band, and many shelves, those also totally in steel, to keep everything that there isn’t space for around the house, like the pots, alcohol, food, and spices, the plates and cups, and even the toaster. A small kitchen that has everything at hand, and a little here and there, moving to the terrace, we find a corner dedicated to aromatic plants: a small extension of the kitchen, that helps to have a fresh mint or basil leaf for each plate, or also the parsley for seasoning, the rosemary for chicken or the fresh tomatoes for a seasonal salad. A simple long white metal table, paired with a pair of benches in the same style, complete the small square of the house for dinners with friends. Already we imagine the dim lights, the sauce boiling in a pot, the potatoes and hummus outside on the terrace with a bottle of white wine dripping condensation, waiting for the chef who delights us with the main dish. A house that gravitates around the kitchen? For us, it’s a yes!
