Ci piace curiosare nel web e scovare nuove ispirazioni e progetti interessanti. Oggi ciò che abbiamo tra le mani è un progetto coloratissimo nato da Patricia e Christian e si chiama PACK DECO.

Belli, talentuosi e simpatici. La ricetta per il successo pare garantita. In the mood for design ha fatto una chiacchierata con questa coppia meravigliosa che vive a Lisbona dove tutto è cominciato, la loro storia prima, il progetto pack deco poi.

Girovagando tra mercatini e negozietti del centro sono rimasti folgorati, “pack-incantati” dice Patricia sorridendo, dalle meravigliose e coloratissime confezioni dei prodotti di varie parti del mondo che arrivavano sugli scaffali della città portoghese. Cosi hanno iniziato a raccoglierli e a fotografarli, giocando con le tonalità degli sfondi e le scritte eleganti delle confezioni. Gli amici hanno iniziato a portare nuovi prodotti e loro a raccoglierne in modo sempre più minuzioso durante viaggi: ecco come è nato pack deco, “dalla passione in primis, senza alcun dubbio”, e “per riscoprire l’artigianato e dare valore alla qualità, con prodotti e confezioni storiche”.

Lisbona offre tanto ma chi sa dove li porterà il loro progetto e le rispettive carriere: Christian, sviluppatore e designer milanese, ha tutte le carte in regola per arrivare lontano mentre Patricia, originaria di San Francisco, è niente meno che ballerina della Companhia Nacional de Bailado.

Il futuro è incerto ma un’idea potrebbe essere quella di tradurre pack deco in un progetto editoriale e accessibile a tutti. Non possiamo che augurarci di vederlo presto in libreria

We like to browse the web and find new inspirations and interesting projects. Today what we have in our hands is a colorful project created by Patricia and Christian and is called PACK DECO.

Beautiful, talented and nice. The recipe for success seems to be guaranteed. In the mood for design had a chat with this wonderful couple living in Lisbon where everything started, their first story, the pack design deco and so forth.

While wandering through the malls and stores of the center, they were inspired, “pack-enchanted,” says Patricia smiling, from the wonderful and colorful packaging of products from various parts of the world arriving on the shelves of the Portuguese city. So they began collecting and photographing them, playing with the background tones and the elegant writing of the packs. Their friends started to bring new products and they too continued to collect more and more during the voyages: this is how pack deco started, “from passion first and foremost,” and “to rediscover craftsmanship and give value to quality , with historical products and packages. ”

Lisbon offers so many but who knows where their project will go and their respective careers: Christian, developer and designer of Milan, has all the cards in order to get away while Patricia, originally from San Francisco, is a dancer at the National Theater of Lisbon.

The future is uncertain, but an idea might be to translate packet deco into an editorial project which can be accessible to everyone. We can only hope to see it in the library soon.
