Questo incredibile appartamento occupa piano terra e primi piani di una bellissima casa d’epoca con vista sul mare a Marina of St Leonards-on-sea, East Sussex. Gli ambienti alternano decorazioni d’epoca a soluzioni più moderne, in un perfetto mix che non disturba ma che anzi trova grande armonia in una struttura così ben illuminata e dagli spazi così ampi e ariosi. Il soggiorno è una piccola gemma vintage dove il tempo sembra non essere trascorso, e si apre con le due finestre sulla vista sul mare, mentre la cucina sfodera un fascino molto più moderno, con il piano di lavoro in quarzo, i mobili di un blu profondo, finiture in ottone e moltissimo spazio per ritirare stoviglie varie. La camera da letto patronale è total white, con gli armadi che costeggiano tutta la parete con un bel tocco di calore nella decorazione; bello il pavimento in bagno e la vasca dal sapore vintage, ma il pezzo forte è il sottotetto. La porta e il soffitto il legno massello sono originali e ben conservati, così come le finestre dai vetri decorati: lo spazio si apre e accoglie l’ambiente perfetto per leggere un buon libro, essere creativi, lavorare o ancora perdersi nei propri pensieri.

This incredible apartment occupies the ground floor and first floor of a beautiful period home with a sea view at Marina of St Leonards-on-sea, East Sussex. The spaces alternate period decorations with more modern solutions, in a perfect mix that does not disturb but rather finds great harmony in a structure so well illuminated and with such large and airy spaces. The living room is a little vintage gem where time seems not to have passed, and opens with the two windows to the sea view, while the kitchen has a much more modern charm, with the quartz countertop, deep blue furniture, brass finishes and plenty of space to collect various dishes. The master bedroom is total white, with the wardrobe that lines the entire wall with a nice touch of warmth in the decoration; the floor in the bathroom and the bathtub with a vintage flavor are beautiful, but the highlight is the attic.
