È finalmente arrivato il catalogo IKEA 2021, una guida che da quasi settant’anni rappresenta la vita all’interno delle case, i cambiamenti che agiscono sul modo in cui sono vissute e, di conseguenza, che ne modificano gli spazi. Quest’anno il catalogo è ricco di speranza per il domani, con tante idee per una vita quotidiana migliore all’insegna della funzionalità e dell’ecosostenibilità accessibile e democratica, affinché tutti possano fare scelte più consapevoli. Il progetto, nato dalla collaborazione di un team di designer provenienti da 5 Paesi diversi, è presentato in più versioni per rispecchiare al massimo le diverse realtà e avvicinarsi il più possibile al modo di vivere dei clienti in tutto il mondo. Allo stesso modo gli ambienti proposti, sei in tutto di cui tre a scelta di ogni stato. cercano di rappresentare le diverse sfaccettature con cui la società oggi vive le abitazioni, che siano piccoli appartamenti per single oppure che si preparino ad accogliere un nuovo arrivato. Tutto è pensato per essere fuori dagli schemi, dalle fantasie, ai materiali, alla modularità degli arredi, dando ampio spazio a bagno e cucina, ambienti nei quali sono più diffusi spreco ed inquinamento, e a tutti quei dettagli che rendono la casa più vivibile ed accogliente. La nuova linea BOAXTEL, ad esempio, comprende un sistema di arredi componibili per creare la propria parete attrezzata su misura, mentre lo scaffale ENHET, pensato per l’organizzazione di bagni e lavanderie, può essere molto utile a chi cambia spesso casa. L’iconica libreria BILLY viene inoltre presentata in una nuova versione all’interno della collezione EFFETTO VAIA, prodotta con il legno recuperato dalle foreste trivenete devastate nel 2018. Sembra proprio che IKEA ci stia dando molto a cui pensare e organizzare, ma anche tutti gli strumenti per farlo.

The 2021 IKEA catalog has finally arrived, a guide that for almost seventy years represents life inside the home, the changes that affect the way they are experienced and, consequently, that modify spaces. This year the catalog is rich in hope for tomorrow, with many ideas for a better daily life in the name of functionality and of accessible and democratic eco-sustainability, so that all can make more conscious choices. The project, founded by the collaboration of a team of designers originating from 5 different countries, is presented in multiple versions to reflect as much as possible the diverse realities and come as close as possible to the way of life of customers all over the world. In the same way, the proposed environments, six in all, three of which are chosen by each state, try to represent the different facets with which society today lives in homes, whether they are small apartments for single people or are preparing to welcome a newcomer. Everything is meant to be outside of the box, from the patterns, to the materials, to the modularity of the furnishings, giving ample space to the bathroom and kitchen, spaces in which waste and pollution are more widespread, and all those details that make the house more livable and welcoming. The new line BOAXTEL, for example, includes a modular shelf system to create your own customized equipped wall, while the ENHET shelf, designed for the organization of bathrooms and laundry rooms can be very useful for those who move homes often. The iconic BILLY bookshelf is also presented in a new version within the EFFETTO VAIA collection, produced with wood recovered from the Trivenete forests devastated in 2018. Truly seems that IKEA is giving a lot to think about and organize, but also all of the tools to do so.
