Torniamo a Goteborg, una delle nostre cittadine preferite in quanto ad offerta di case dai perfetti interni nordici e dal giusto tocco di autenticità. Tra le case inglesi in mattoni rossi costruite attorno al 1880, troviamo questo sottotetto luminoso e piacevole con belle travi a vista e bellissime finestre originali – le tre che si aprono sul soggiorno danno un quid veramente unico all’ambiente. La generosa altezza del soffitto crea un’atmosfera meravigliosamente ariosa, mentre la ristrutturazione con materiale accuratamente selezionato si armonizza con il fascino della struttura antica. Le pareti e il soffitto sono dipinti di bianco e il parquet a tre barre in rovere scorre perfettamente tra la sala, il soggiorno e la cucina – come un perfetto interno nordico. Incantevoli anche le travi in legno a vista che riscaldano l’abbacinante bianco, così come i dettagli di arredo in metallo (come il lampadario e le decorazioni in soggiorno o la rubinetteria in cucina) e una palette che gioca su tante varianti di beige e crema. Non c’è altra parola per descrivere questo sottotetto, se non: affascinante.

We return to Goteborg, one of our favorite cities for offering houses with perfect Nordic interiors and with the right touch of authenticity. Among the red brick English houses constructed around 1880, we find this bright and pleasant attic with beautiful exposed beams and beautiful original windows – the three that open onto the living room give a truly unique quid to the environment. The generous height of the ceiling creates a marvelously airy atmosphere, while the renovation with materials carefully selected harmonize with the charm of the old structure. The walls and the ceiling are painted white and the three-bar oak parquet flows perfectly between the lounge, the living room, and the kitchen – like a perfect Nordic interior. The exposed wooden beams are also enchanting and warm up the dazzling white, as well as the metal details in the furniture (like the chandelier and the decorations in the living room or the taps in the kitchen) a palette that plays with many variations of beige and cream. There are no other words to describe this attic, if not: charming.
