Soffitti alti, modanature alle pareti, modanature sopra le porte, di quelle che ormai sono più uniche che rare, una palette molto raffinata,un lampadario di cristallo, ma… butterfly chairs, un camino quadrato, arte moderna alle pareti, sedie di design e molto altro. Una struttura che urla “sontuoso! dorato! ricco! prezioso!” ma un arredamento che risponde con “shhh! Ci vuole classe.” Non sempre risulta semplice accostare il moderno al classico, ma in questa casa è stato fatto con una grande cura dei dettagli. Il classico ci spinge a riempire la casa con un arredamento decorato, con raffigurazioni classiche, con materiali alla vista e al tocco preziosi e con molto sfarzo, e il moderno ci invita invece a seguire la semplicità, l’uso pensato degli spazi, l’essenziale e pungente nel suo piccolo. Abbiamo un soggiorno dalle pareti tutte bianche, interrotte da un quadro moderno che ruba la scena con pochi dettagli, un ampio divano lineare, semplice con qualche cuscino dalle tinte calde, un tavolino rotondo in legno che richiama le linee morbide delle butterfly chairs, una lampada a muro che fa finta di essere una piantana, qualche dettaglio verde, un minuscolo tavolino nero dai profili taglienti e abbiamo finito. Una sala da pranzo con un candido tavolo senza dettagli, che richiama la geometria del bellissimo camino; un set di sedie in legno dal design fresco e moderno, un tappeto in fibre naturali e non un persiano pieno di dettagli, una poltroncina che sembra ricavata da un pezzo di marmo candido dove scaldarsi affianco al fuoco, e ovviamente qualche dettaglio verde naturale, il tutto supervisionato da un lampadario in cristallo che sembra tenere le distanze. Una camera da letto in cui il protagonista indiscusso è appunto il letto, che sembra composto solo di lenzuoli, cuscini e piumoni freschi e morbidi, pochi dettagli alle pareti e un piccolo tavolino nero che fa finta di essere vintage. E una cucina semplice, piena di ante, cassetti e armadietti per un look pulito e luminoso. Una struttura importante, con un arredamento che lascia l’importanza alla semplicità. Un accostamento con i fiocchi!

A structure that screams “lavish! golden! rich! precious!” but furnishing that responds with “shhh! It takes class.” It is not always simple to juxtapose modern and classic, but in this case it is done with great attention to detail. The classic pushes us to fill the house with furnishing decorated with classic representation, with visible materials precious to the touch and with pomp, and the modern instead invites us to follow simplicity, the thought out use of spaces, the essential and poignant in its small way. We have a living room with all white walls, interrupted by a modern painting that robs the scene with few details, a wide, linear sofa with some pillows in warm shades, a round wooden table that recalls the soft lines of the butterfly chairs, a wall lamp that pretends to be a floor lamp, some green details, small black table with sharp profiles and we are finished. A dining room with a white table without details, that recalls the geometry of the beautiful fireplace; a set of wooden chairs in a fresh and modern design, a carpet in natural fibers and not a Persian full of details, a chair that seems extracted from a piece of white marble to warm up beside the fire, and obviously some natural green details, all supervised by a crystal chandelier that seems to keep its distance. A bedroom in which the undisputed protagonist is precisely the bed, that seems composed only of sheets, pillows, and fresh and soft duvets, few details on the walls and a small black table that pretends to be vintage. And a simple kitchen, full of doors, drawers and cabinets for a clean and bright look. An important structure, with furnish that leaves the importance to simplicity. A combination with all the trimmings!
