Quasi come se volesse nascondersi tra le rocce delle scogliera, questa casa dal look esterno scuro, ha un sacco di dettagli da scoprire al suo interno. Ci troviamo sull’isola di Orust, a ovest della Svezia dove il proprietario della casa d’aste Sotheby ha progettato la sua casa per vacanze in collaborazione con l’architetto Magnus Almung. Entrando, la prima impressione di cupo e nascosto si ribalta, con ampi spazi tinti di bianco e pieni di luce che si affacciano sul bellissimo panorama di mare, scogliere e alberi. Un interno pieno di dettagli, di colori e piante che si allungano fino al bellissimo patio da cui godere della vista migliore. Il legno ha il posto d’onore all’interno, rivestendo pavimenti pareti e soffitti. Il soggiorno molto informale si decora di quello stile nordico con colori tenui, tessuti dalle tinte cupe o color pastello, qualche fiore colorato e delle decorazioni sgargianti completando il tutto con un bellissimo caminetto nero. In cucina troviamo una bellissima isola bianca rivestita in pietra e circondata da sedie bianche per contrastare il nero delle rocce nello sfondo al di là delle grandi finestre. Una scrivania vuota dietro il soggiorno trova una via di fuga dal lavoro nella finestra a fascia appena dietro, che si affaccia sul bosco retrostante per poter lavorare con la pace della natura a portata di mano. E se la pace di questa casa non ci basta, una splendida scaletta in legno, che si scava il suo percorso tra le scogliere, ci porta direttamente all’acqua per un giretto in barca o un tuffo decisamente rinfrescante. La location perfetta dove passare una vacanza per staccarci dallo stress della vita mondana. Un the caldo,un libro, una coperta e la sdraio in patio è occupata per queste vacanze. Buona estate.

Almost like it wanted to hide among the rocks of the cliff, this villa with a dark exterior look, has lots of details to discover in the interior. We are on the island of Orust, west of Sweden. This vacation home, of the owner of the Sotheby auction house, seems composed of both wood and glass. Entering inside, the gloomy and hidden first impression is overturned, with ample spaces in white and full of light overlooking the beautiful view of the sea, cliffs and trees. An interior full of details, of colors and plants that stretch up to the beautiful patio, the place to enjoy the best view. Wood has the place of honor in the interior, coating floors, walls and ceilings. The very informal living room is decorated with a typical Nordic style in muted colors, fabrics in dark colors or pastel, some colorful flowers and some bright decorations completing everything with a beautiful black fireplace. In the kitchen, we find a beautiful white island covered in stone and surrounded by white seats to contrast the black of the rocks in the background beyond the beautiful windows. An empty desk behind the living room, you can find an escape from work in the window just behind, overlooking the forest to be able to work with the peace that nature brings at your fingertips. And if the peace of this house is not enough, a splendid little staircase in wood, that cuts its way through the cliffs and brings you directly to the water for a boat ride or for a very refreshing dive. The perfect location to go on vacation to break away from the stress of daily life. A hot tea, a book, a blanket and the deck chair on the patio is occupied for this vacation. Happy summer.
