Una casa che si comporta come un foglio bianco.

Un serenissimo foglio bianco per esaltare un arredamento di design e una collezione di oggetti di vario tipo che rendono questa abitazione un’opera d’arte. Soffitti bianchi, pareti bianche, infissi bianchi, bianco in soggiorno, bianco in cucina, bianco ovunque, il tutto su un pavimento in legno chiarissimo e con pochi punti di colore qua e la. Un piccolo verde delle foglie, qualche opera e oggetto nero che va con tutto, un po di legno e colori chiari e abbiamo una casa fatta per il relax e per staccare dal tripudio di colori della città. Ogni tanto un punto forte, come in cucina il gruppo di sedie Thonet che circondano il tavolo da pranzo scuro ma non invasivo. Oppure in soggiorno, restiamo a bocca aperta davanti a questa Kakelugn, una stufa svedese in ceramica lavorata, nata per affrontare gli inverni rigidi con poca legna ma tanto calore. O ancora ci troviamo in camera da letto dove vengono invertiti i ruoli, abbiamo le pareti e gli armadi in total black, in contrapposizione al punto forte della camera, il letto, anch’esso nero ma vestito di un candido bianco.

Se non sappiamo che colore scegliere per la nostra casa, sicuramente il bianco è una scelta vincente, ma col giusto occhio per l’arredamento, i giusti contrasti e un po di natura, o rischiamo di non trovare più il divano su cui sederci e finire per terra!

A serene white sheet to enhance design furniture and a collection of various objects make this dwelling a work of art.  White ceilings, white walls, white fixtures, white in the living room, white in the kitchen, white everywhere, all on a very clear wooden floor, with a few splashes of color here and there.  Some green leaves and black objects that go with everything, combined with a bit of wood and light colors create a home that is made for relaxation and detachment from a city ablaze with color.  Every now and then there is a statement piece, such as the group of Thonet chairs surrounding the dark but noninvasive table.  In the living room, our jaws drop when we see this Kakelugn, a ceramic Swedish stove, born to face the harsh winters with just a bit of wood but so much warmth.  In the bedroom, the roles are reversed.  The black walls and cabinets contrast the bed, which is also black but dressed in all white.

If we do not know what color to choose for our house, surely white is an excellent choice, but with the right eye for furniture, the right contrasts, and a bit of nature; otherwise, we run the risk of missing the couch and ending up on the floor!
