L’erba del vicino è sempre più verde, ma noi vogliamo il color corallo!

Si chiama Living Coral, ed è il nuovo colore di Pantone per il prossimo anno 2019 che ormai è alle porte. Un colore veramente intenso e vibrante, pieno di vita, come se fosse stato campionato direttamente da un braccio di corallo della barriera corallina e trasferito immediatamente nella nostra casa. Non è un colore facile ne da indossare, ne per arredare, ma accostato al giusto colore lascerà tutti a bocca aperta. Per esempio lo possiamo abbinare divinamente a un bel color grigio, però, con una sfumatura calda, come ne abbiamo l’esempio in questo bellissimo soggiorno con camino dove la poltrona Utrecht di Cassina, rivestita di un tessuto tinta unita color corallo,  ruba la scena al resto dell’arredamento ma valorizzando anche le pareti scure.

Per gli avventurosi si può anche pensare di usare il Living Coral come pittura muraria, ma attenzione(!), piccole porzioni di muro colorate, o potrebbe finire col farvi venire il mal di mare!

Per chi, invece, non vuole osare troppo ma vuole comunque la sua parte di Living Coral, abbiamo una bellissima mug color corallo con il riferimento numerico del colore nel Pantone. Sedie, coperte, muri o tazze, uno spazio lo si trova per questo splendido colore che accompagnerà un altrettanto splendido 2019!

It’s called Living Coral, and it’s the new Pantone color for 2019, which is right around the corner.  A truly intense and vibrant color that is full of life, as if it has been sampled directly from a coral reef and transferred directly in our homes.  It is not an easy color to wear, nor to furnish, but when approached in the right way, this color has the potential to leave everyone with their jaws on the floor.  For example, we can match it divinely to a beautiful grey color to create warmth, as we have in the incredible living room with a fireplace.  The Utrecht Cassina armchair covered with a solid coral fabric steals the show when compared to the other furnishings, while also enhancing the dark walls.

For the adventurous type, you could also use Living Coral as a mural painting, but beware (!), small portions of colored wall, or you could end up getting seasick!
