Ci troviamo a Madrid, nel distretto di Chamberí, un tempo zona residenziale di buona parte dell’aristocrazia durante i secoli XIX e XX.

La struttura dell’edificio che stiamo guardando ricorda quella di un fienile o un grosso magazzino industriale. Dal pavimento, passando per il ballatoio in travi di ferro e fino ai tiranti delle capriate del soffitto, tutto è stato progettato ad hoc. Un look moderno ed essenziale, con un tocco di rustico, per poter soddisfare tutte le tipologie di clienti che decidono, e decidono bene, di soggiornare qua. Abbiamo un bellissimo parquet in legno chiaro che continua per tutta la casa, fino in camera da letto e nel bagno privato. Due grosse fasce di mattoni a vista fanno correre l’occhio dal pavimento del soggiorno lungo tutta la parete fino allo splendido soffitto in legno con capriate di sostegno in ferro con dei delicati tiranti. Un grosso lucernaio, posto proprio sopra al soggiorno, con l’aiuto delle grandi finestre a tutta altezza,fa in modo che tutta la casa sia inondata di una bellissima luce naturale e che nessun angolo sia lasciato in ombra. La cucina è una grossa penisola che si “stacca” dalla zona dei servizi, definita da un colore marrone scuro, che ha anche funzione di piano bar aggiungendo un paio di sgabelli. La camera da letto, decorata con un tema marittimo per ricordare i colori dell’arredamento del soggiorno,  dialoga direttamente con il ballatoio e si separa dal resto della casa tramite dei setti murari tronchi che racchiudono camera e bagno privato. Il bagno, che si affaccia direttamente sulla camera matrimoniale, è molto spazioso e ampio, con grandi specchi che aiutano ad ampliare la percezione e una imponente doccia con il vetro sagomato sul tetto della casa.

Che sia per un weekend romantico, per una vacanza con gli amici o per una serata indimenticabile, questo loft si adatta ad ogni situazione e sicuramente vi lascerà a bocca aperta.

We are located in Madrid, in the district of Chamberí, once a residential area belonging to much of the aristocracy during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.

The structure of the building that we are looking at resembles a barn or a large industrial warehouse.  From the floor, passing through the balcony, and up to the rods of the ceiling are iron beams; everything was designed ad hoc.  A modern and essential look, with a rustic touch, satisfies all customers who decide, and decide well, to stay here.  We have beautiful light wooden parquet floors that continue throughout the home, up into the bedroom and into the private bathroom.  Two large patches of exposed brick guide the eyes from the floor of the living room to the beautiful wooden ceiling with iron support trusses and delicate tie rods.  A large skylight, placed directly above the living room, combined with the tall windows, ensure that the entire house is flooded with natural light and no corner is left in the dark.  The kitchen is a large peninsula that is detached from the service area, which is defined by a dark brown color and serves as a bar when a pair of stools are added.  The bedroom, decorated with a maritime theme, recalls the colors of the living room and creates a dialogue with the balcony that separates the rest of the house from the bedroom and private bathroom.  The bathroom, which overlooks the double bedroom, is very spacious, with large mirrors that help to widen the perception and an impressive shower with glass that is shaped to the roof of the house.
