Se l’eleganza fosse un profumo, questo appartamento svedese ne sarebbe inebriato: 104 mq di originalità per un interno nordico che sa farsi ammirare. Una intensa palette di grigi si impreziosisce di stucchi e tocchi di maestosa grazia come il lampadario Gino Sarfatti di Flos e i tappeti berberi, mentre altrove troviamo richiami allo stile orientale, come i vasi in ceramica blu di vari colori e dimensioni.

Dappertutto troviamo dettagli eccentrici che rendono questa casa unica: come la grande testata capitonné del letto padronale, o l’irriverente foto di donna col sigaro, o ancora i verdeggianti cactus del living. In cucina poi un accennato muro in mattoni a vista contrasta con il paraschizzi in piastrelline Bisazza in un mix di grigi, ma le vere protagoniste sono le sedie Masters Kartell, un tributo di Philippe Starck e Eugeni Quitllet alle più celebri sedute iconiche del design contemporaneo; con un intreccio di linee ibride, lo schienale evoca le forme di tre classici del design contemporaneo: la Tulip Armchair di Eero Saarinen, la Eiffel Chair di Charles Eames e la Series 7 di Arne Jacobsen. Con la loro unione e fusione creano un nuovo prodotto, un nuovo progetto.

If elegance was a fragrance, this Swedish apartment would be inebriated: 104 square meters of originality for a Nordic interior that can be admired. An intense palette of grays is embellished with stuccos and touches of majestic grace such as the Gino Sarfatti chandelier by Flos and the Berber carpets, while elsewhere we find references to the oriental style, such as the blue ceramic vases of various colors and sizes.

Everywhere we find eccentric details that make this house unique: like the large capitonné headboard of the master bed, or the irreverent photo of a woman with a cigar, or even the verdant cactus of the living room. In the kitchen, a visible brick wall contrasts with the Bisazza tiles in a mix of gray, but the real protagonists are the Masters Kartell chairs, a tribute by Philippe Starck and Eugeni Quitllet to the most famous iconic chairs of contemporary design; with a blend of hybrid lines, the backrest evokes the forms of three classics of contemporary design: Eero Saarinen’s Tulip Armchair, Charles Eames’s Eiffel Chair and Arne Jacobsen’s Series 7. With their union and fusion they create a new product, a new project.
