Oggi siamo in Olanda a Delft, la città famosa per le sue ceramiche bianche e blu, in una casa dell’inizio del secolo scorso ristrutturata con grande passione. In ogni dettaglio traspare la creatività e l’amore per la casa dei proprietari. Ci sono un sacco di idee semplici dalle quale potete prendere spunto. A noi piace la parete del salotto realizzata con dei vecchi setacci da farina, utilizzati come mensole e “inquadrati” da una pittura grigio chiaro dall’aspetto non finito. Belle entrambe le pareti della cucina, una in mattoni a vista e l’altra dipinta con la vernice “effetto lavagna”. Da notare il messaggio affettuoso appeso alla parete e reso speciale dalla collezione di cornici vuote unite da un nastro rosso.  Divertente la scala gialla che da carattere alla stanza dei bambini, dove vecchie scatole in legno dall’aspetto grezzo contengono i giocattoli.

Today we are taking you to the Netherlands, and more precisely to Delft, the town famous for its blue and white ceramics, and we’re going to show you a house from the last century which has been renovated with wonderful passion. In every detail the creativity and love of the owners shines through. There are lots of simple ideas from which you can take inspiration. We adore the living room wall made of old flour sieves, used as shelves and “framed” with a light gray unfinished looking paint. The kitchen walls are also beautiful, one open brickwork and the other painted with a “blackboard effect” paint and the loving message on the wall, made special by the collection of empty frames connected by a red ribbon is just so cute. The yellow staircase leading to the children’s room, where old wooden boxes contain raw-looking toys, is quirky and gives a touch of character.
